Our aim is to establish a fellowship and ministry that is predominantly outward looking and kingdom advancing, keeping faithful to the teaching that everyone has purpose and value as we are all one in Christ. We therefore believe in equipping and providing opportunity for all believers to exercise their gifting and walk in their calling. We believe strongly in the concept of ‘disciples making disciples, making disciple’s’ and encourage everyone to serve each other as Peter says “As each has received a gift, use it to serve one another, as good stewards of God’s grace”. 1 Peter 4:10.
We want to see revival and we want to see all churches filled! To do that, we have to raise up leaders to inspire and disciple the next generation of Christians. Fenland Upper Room has a mission to train and equip leaders so that they can fulfil their mission.
Ultimately, we promote and foster an environment of Christians serving and working together throughout the Fens. We believe in being ready to receive new wine, and therefore stand ready to renew our wine skins, laying down any culture or traditions that hinder God’s growth in our ministry.
